Discover Smith-Cernie Vineyard
Smith-Cernie Vineyard is a small, sustainably-farmed vineyard in The Dalles, Oregon, in the Columbia Valley AVA. The vineyard offers spectacular views of the surrounding valley and the climate is subject to weather extremes such as high heat in the summer, cold, snowy winters, and strong winds blowing in from the Pacific Ocean.
The vineyard is owned by Bernie and Linda, proprietors and farmers, who planted the vineyard with their family in the 1970s and take great care to farm sustainably and with minimal inputs. Sauvignon Blanc is not often planted in Oregon, so it is a privilege to work with these rare and extraordinary vines.
